A sessions court on Tuesday granted bail to three people—Niraj Bishnoi, Aumkareshwar Thakur and Neeraj Singh—arrested in the Bulli Bai app case in which photographs of 102 Muslim women, including journalists and activists, were put up for auction online. The complainant in the case had told police that on January 1, she came to know from her friend that on the app hosted by the website GitHub, her photograph had been uploaded for auction. While there was no actual sale of women, the app seemed intended to humiliate the targets, most of whom are social media users.
