MUMBAI: For yet another day city witnessed pre-monsoon showers. However, unlike on Thursday, parts of the island city also recorded rain accompanied by thunder activity on Friday.
On Thursday the suburbs witnessed two heavy rain spells while the island city was comparatively dry. According to IMD’s 24-hour forecast ending at 8.30am on Friday, IMD Santacruz observatory recorded 15.5 mm of rainfall while the Colaba observatory recorded no rain.
