MUMBAI: An argument over Rs 100 between two friends led to one murdering the other in Dahisar. The 30-year-old accused attempted to destroy evidence by burning the body of the victim, Raju Pa til. Dahisar police arrested the accused within 24 hours.
They had received a tip-off about a fight between the victim and the accused. “Patil had refused to return Rs100 he had taken from the accused’s cousin brother. Matter s worsened when he a bused both the accused and his cousin. The accused strangulated Patil with a plastic string,” said a Dahisar police officer.
