Mumbai: Woman, her family harassed by two bike-borne miscreants on Western Express Highway [Video] – Times Now

Mumbai: It seems there is no fear of law in the hearts of miscreants. And this evident following a shocking incident that took place in Maharashtra’s capital Mumbai. 

Two bike-borne men harassed a 21-year-old woman and her family while they were driving down on the Western Express Highway on Thursday. 

The harassment of the girl and her family went on for full 15 minutes. The video of the incident has also gone viral on social media, according to a report in the Times of India.

In the video, the men who did not wear helmets could be seen using expletives and making indecent hand gestures towards the victim’s vehicle.

The miscreants also drove dangerously close to the car. The girl recorded the criminal act of the duo and uploaded it on Twitter and tagged Mumbai Police.

Vakola police said they have analysed the CCTV footage from Western Express Highway and registered a complaint. 

The incident took place when the woman,  a resident of Santacruz, was heading to Prabhadevi. The woman was seated in the front seat while her father was driving the car. 

When the car reached Vakola on Western Express Highway (WEH), the two youth appeared on a scooter driving rashly. The scooter did not have a registration number plate. 

“The duo was speeding and came dangerously close to our car. We barely managed to avoid a collision. The youth was driving in a zig-zag manner throughout the expressway,” the report quoted the woman as saying.

The pillion rider started hurling abuses and made indecent gestures when he saw the spotted the girls in the car. Later, the accused turned towards Mahim.
