Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has said the state may receive its supply of Covishield vaccine only after May 20, hinting that vaccination to everyone above the age of 18 years after May 1, will likely be delayed. The development comes even as the state reported 66,358 new COVID cases and 895 deaths. Meanwhile, Mumbai city continues to report new cases below 6,000 for the fourth day in a row. On Tuesday, the city reported 4,014 new cases, 59 deaths, and 8,240 recoveries. Thane city reported 770 new cases and 11 deaths. Whereas, seven patients admitted to the ICU section of the Diya Hospital were shifted due to oxygen shortage.
