Mumbai city on Tuesday reported a total of 10,030 new coronavirus cases, taking the overall tally to 4,72,332. The city also saw a spike in deaths with 31 people succumbing to the virus in the last 24 hours. The overall death toll has increased to 11,828. The active cases now stand at 77,495. On a positive note, 7,019 people recovered from the virus. Till date, 3,82,004 people have been recovered. Maharashtra reported 55,469 fresh coronavirus positive cases, the second-highest spike in the last two days, taking the tally of infections to 31,13,354. Whereas, 297 deaths pushed the toll to 56,330.
