Mumbai: A part of an under-construction building collapsed in Mumbai’s Girgaon area on Sunday. One person was reportedly injured in the incident. After getting the information, authorities rushed to the spot.
The injured has been shifted to a hospital. The incident took place at Kattar Lane in the Girgaon area of South Mumbai. As per reports, the part of the under-construction building collapsed at around 8 pm.

As per a report by mid-day, the person injured in the incident is a 7-year-old girl. She is reportedly undergoing treatment at the Reliance Hospital. The girl is reported to be in critical condition. Mumbai Fire Brigade officials are carrying out a rescue operation.

October last year, A portion of a three-storey building collapsed in Wazira Naka area of Borivali. No injuries were reported in that incident. However, the four to five vehicles that were parked in the vicinity of the building were were damaged.
