On New Year’s Eve, the Mumbai Police will deploy around 11,500 police personnel at key locations across the city. Police deployment will be at places where large crowds are expected like Gateway of India, Marine Drive, Juhu Chowpatty, Girgaum Chowpatty, Bandra Bandstand, Bandra Carter road and few other places. The security measures are taken to prevent any untoward incident on New Year’s Eve. Meanwhile, traffic police officials will see that traffic movement runs smoothly on the roads across the city.
