Western Railway increases frequency of Mumbai-Delhi Super Fast special – details – Times Now

“For the convenience of passengers, Western Railway has increased the frequency of Train No. 09003/09004 Mumbai Central-New Delhi Superfast AC Special train on Special Fare from Weekly to Bi-Weekly,” Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway Sumit Thakur said.

The special train will depart from Mumbai Central every Wednesday and Friday at 4 pm and reach New Delhi at 12.30 pm, the next day. This train will run on 28th and 30th December 2022 and 4th and 6th January, 2023. Similarly, Train No. 09004 New Delhi – Mumbai Central AC Special will depart from New Delhi every Thursday and Saturday at 2.10 pm and arrive Mumbai Central at 11.40 am, the next day. This train will run on 29th and 31st December 2022 and 5th and 7th January, 2023, the railway said.

The special train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota and Mathura stations in both directions.

The booking for additional trips of train no. 09003 will open from December 28 at all PRS Counters and on the IRCTC website, the WR officials said. This train comprises of First AC, AC 2-Tier and AC 3-Tier coaches.

On Monday, the Western Railway announced that it will be running eight special local trains on the occasion of New Year’s Eve for the benefit of commuters. These special trains will be operational from midnight December 31 to January 1, 2023. This will include four trains in the DOWN direction, from Churchgate to Virar, and four in the UP direction, from Virar to Churchgate, WR said.
