Tunisha Sharma, a television actress, died on Saturday (December 24) by suicide on the set of her Tv show Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul, and her co-star Sheezan Mohammed Khan has been arrested on charges of abetting the suicide. The 24-year-old actress went to the washroom on the set and did not return for a long time. When the door was broken down, she was found hanging and soon was rushed to the hospital, where she was declared dead. Her last rites will be performed on Monday (December 26) evening after the hospital hands over her mortal remains to the family.

Actress Tunisha Sharma’s last rites will be performed on Monday (December 26) evening. After her body was brought to JJ Hospital on Saturday, doctors conducted a post-mortem. The mortal remains of Tunisha will be handed over to the family by 11 am on Sunday and around 4 pm, family will head to Mira Road crematorium to perform her funeral.

Tunisha Sharma’s co-star and rumoured boyfriend Sheezan Khan has been arrested after her mother filed an FIR against him, accusing him of abetment of suicide.

ACP Chandrakanth Jadhav said in a statement, “Waliv police arrested actress Tunisha Sharma’s co-star Sheezan Khan by registering a case of abetment to suicide Tunisha Sharma died by suicide on the set of a TV serial. Her mother has registered a complaint. We are investigating this.”
