According to a statement from the BMC, these additions brought the total number of Covid-19 cases to 11,40,566, while the death toll grew to 19,677.
The advisory states that after 10,720 tests were run in the previous 24 hours, additional Covid-19 cases were found, bringing their total to 1,80,36,433.

Mumbai now has 6,087 active cases after 973 more individuals recovered from the respiratory infection, bringing the city’s total number of recovered cases to 11,14,802, according to the BMC.
The message said that the city’s coronavirus recovery rate is 97.7%.
Only 47 patients out of the 793 new Covid-19 instances had symptoms, it claimed.

Between August 17 and August 23, Covid-19’s growth rate was 0.076 percent, while the time it took for a case to double was 890 days.
According to a local official, 6,269 cases are still active after 330 people recovered from the injection on the previous day.
In the previous 24 hours, Maharashtra reported 1,910 new cases of COVID-19 and seven fatalities. As a result, the overall number of people reached 80,87,476, while the number of fatalities reached 1,48,203.
Mumbai recorded 832 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, up from over 600 instances the previous day, and two more people perished from the infection in the metropolis. The total number of cases for Covid-19 climbed to 11,39,773, while the mortality toll jumped to 19,675.
