Mumbai: 77-year-old hit by rickshaw dies, driver arrested – Times of India

MUMBAI: A 77-year-old man , Baburao More a resident in Andheri, died after he was knocked down by a speeding auto-rickshaw that jumped the signal on Monday.
The elderly man was crossing the road after the signal turned red to cross when the speeding rickshaw hit him. The driver rushed the man to the hospital in his rickshaw.
However, More died an hour later while undergoing treatment at the hospital. MIDC police arrested the accused driver identified as Mohammed Shah (52) has been arrested for rash and negligent driving.
