MUMBAI: The BEST will launch two prominent bus routes from Monday — one from T2 international airport to Kharghar and another circular bus route from CSMT to Bombay hospital-Churchgate station and back.
“Both the routes will benefit scores of office-goers, fliers and other commuters,” said spokesperson Manoj Varade.
The AC mini bus from T2 airport will run throughout the week, and will operate at 90 minute frequency. The ticket for Vashi will be be Rs 150, Seawood Rs 175, CBD Belapur Rs 225 and Kharghar Rs 250.
The ring route will be operated from CSMT in a ring pattern via Mahapalika Marg, Gymkhana, Metro Cinema, Ayakar Bhavan, Churchgate station, Hutatma chowk and back to CSMT station.
The bus will be operated in morning and evening peak hour period from 8.30am to 12.30pm and from 4.30pm to 8.30pm
Based on commuter demand, BEST will operate two extra buses in evening on route A-115 from Mantralaya/Y B Chavan Centre to CSMT daily.
