Mumbai: The Bombay high court gets a new Judge. The President of India on Wednesday issued orders of appointment of Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur of J&K HC as Judge of Bombay HC. He was made permanent Judge of J&K HC in 2013 and is due to retire in April 2026. The Bombay HC as on June 1 has 55 Judges including 7 additional Judges as against a sanctioned strength of over 90. With Justice Thakur’s appointment the percentage strength is about 60 per cent. Swati Deshpande
