Mumbai on Monday reported 174 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths, taking the tally in the city to 7,65,471 and the toll to 16,359. The discharge of 195 persons took the recovery count to 7,44,784 in Mumbai, which is 97 per cent of the overall tally, leaving the state with 1,751 active cases. Meanwhile, the Bombay high court on Monday said the state of Maharashtra was “one of the pioneers” in successfully tackling the crisis that arose because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
