Mumbai news live updates: Maharashtra’s daily vaccination count sees two-fold rise

District collectors’ involvement, promotional activities and special campaigns have led to a significant improvement in daily vaccination count in Maharashtra in the second-half of November. About 37 lakh (17%) of 2.23 crore unvaccinated people (till November 14) were motivated to get their first dose from November 15 to November 26. The daily average of Covid shots administered in the state has also gone up to eight lakh doses per day from three to four lakh in the first-half of November.
