Poonam Pandey hospitalised, husband Sam Bombay arrested for assault – Economic Times

Model-actress Poonam Pandey has been admitted to the hospital after receiving injuries on her head, face and eyes.

The Mumbai Police arrested her husband Sam Bombay late last night after Pandey accused him of assault.

The actress was taken to the hospital after lodging the complaint, according to the police.

“The case has been registered against Sam Bombay under the sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC). The actress has suffered serious injuries on her head, eyes and face,” the Mumbai Police told news agency
ANI.

The cops are investigating the case further, and not many details are out.

Late on Monday night, the model took to Twitter to share her state of mind. Her caption read, “life is unavailable sometimes.”

Fans stood by Pandey and showed their support.

A month ago, the actress shared a quote by actor-comedian Will Ferrell which talks about husbands’ anger issues. The quote read, “Before you marry a person, you should first make them use a computer with slow Internet service to see who they really are.”

Pandey was also seen posting pictures of herself on Karwa Chauth – a festival where women keep a fast to pray for the long life of their husbands.

The couple tied the knot in Septem of 2020.

Pandey made headlines during her honeymoon in Goa when she accused Bombay of molesting, assaulting and threatening her. Following which, he was arrested under Sections 323, 504, 354 and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code, and was later released on bail a day later.

After claiming to end her marriage on multiple social media platforms, Pandey said that she had decided to reconcile with her husband. “I agree problems can occur, but one chance must be given,” she told
