Mumbai reports 335 new Covid-19 cases, 6 deaths – Times of India

MUMBAI: Mumbai on Friday reported 335 new cases of coronavirus.
The overall case tally has now climbed to 7,55,331.
Also, the death toll has now mounted to 16,241 with six persons succumbing to the virus in the day.
Four of the deceased were over 60 years of age, while two were in the 40 to 60 age group. Four of them also had comorbidities.
The number of daily recoveries in the Maximum City was slightly less than the new cases. On Friday, 312 persons got cured of Covid-19, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
With a recovery rate of 97 per cent, Mumbai has so far recorded 7,32,426 discharges.
The city is now left with 4,131 active cases.
The overall growth rate of Covid-19 cases from October 22 to October 28 is 0.05 per cent, while the doubling rate is 1,462 days.
The number of sealed buildings in the BMC limits has now come down to 37, whereas there are no active containment zones (slums and chawls) in the city.
