Mumbai news updates: City reports 421 new Covid-19 cases, 5 deaths

Mumbai on Friday recorded 421 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the tally to 7,52,807, while the death toll climbed to 16,202 with five more deaths. Active cases in the city stand at 4,461. Also, 490 patients were discharged today, taking the total number of recoveries to 7,29,621. Mumbai’s average recovery rate now stands at 97 per cent.
