Mumbai on Thursday reported 458 new Covid-19 cases and six deaths. The caseload in the country’s financial capital rose to 7,48,066 and the death toll reached 16,010. The number of active patients now stands at 4,010, while 49 buildings remain sealed. Meanwhile, on Friday, there will be no Covid-19 vaccination in Mumbai. Due to the Ganesh festival, the Covid-19 vaccination will also not take place in Thane, Kalyan and Dombivli on Friday and Saturday. The Mumbai Police has also issued a notification that Ganpati ‘Mukh Darshan’ or visiting pandals in-person for darshan will be prohibited between September 10 and 19.Read Less
