MUMBAI: Mumbai city on Friday reported 309 new Covid-19 cases, taking the overall case count to 7,36,862.
Eight people including five with co-morbidities also succumbed to the virus. The overall death toll stands at 15,937.
During the day, 407 people were also discharged. Till date, 7,14,166 people have been recovered.
The active cases stand at 4,345.
The recovery rate stands at 97 per cent and the doubling rate is 1,631 days.
The BMC also informed that 35 buildings remain sealed.
