Maharashtra on Monday reported 7,603 new Covid-19 cases and 53 fresh fatalities. The state now has 1,08,343 active COVID-19 cases. Mumbai reported 478 new cases and nine fresh fatalities, while 701 patients recovered from the virus. This is the third time since the beginning of July that Mumbai has reported less than 500 COVID-19 cases. The city is now left with 7120 active cases. Meanwhile, there will be no Covid-19 vaccination in Thane on Tuesday. In another development, BMC informed that the preliminary experiment of a cocktail of two antibody drugs, Casirvimab and Imdevimab has been successful. More than 200 patients have been treated using this method at Seven Hills Hospital in Andheri.Read Less
