MUMBAI: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) informed that Mumbai city reported 489 new Covid-19 cases on Monday. The total caseload has reached 7,25,167.
Whereas, 645 patients were discharged after recovery during the day. The total number of recovered patients stands at 6,99,341 till date.
At present, 7,947 patients are taking treatment.

Unfortunately, 10 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours, taking the overall death count to 15,554. The civic body stated that seven patients out of 10 had co-morbidities, and five among them were above the age of 60.
The recovery rate is 96 per cent while the doubling rate is 802 days.
Meanwhile, the BMC has declared 13 areas as ‘Active Containment Zones’ and sealed off 65 buildings in Mumbai.
