Mumbai News LIVE Updates: Mumbai city reports 700 new COVID- cases; vaccination restarts in Thane today

Mumbai city on Sunday reported 700 new COVID-19 cases, taking the overall tally to 7,16,579. The city also saw 704 recoveries in a day, however, 19 people succumbed to the virus. The active cases now stand at 15,773. Dharavi reported two new cases. In Thane, 86 people tested positive and two people succumbed to the virus. Meanwhile, the vaccination drive in the lake city, which was halted for three days, in view of heavy rainfall and red alert, will be restarted from today.Read Less
