Mumbai City Latest Updates: Mumbai sees 415 new COVID-19 cases, 302 recoveries, four deaths – Times of India

The coronavirus caseload in Mumbai increased to 3,10,597 with 463 new cases being reported on Thursday. With five new fatalities, the death toll due to the virus rose to 11,378. The average doubling rate of COVID-19 cases in the city is now 566 days. As many as 4,331 healthcare workers were administered the COVID-19 vaccine at 18 centers in the city on Thursday, taking the total of inoculated persons to 62,954. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has also asked the authorities and citizens not to become complacent in the fight against coronavirus in view of its second wave in Britain and Brazil. Meanwhile, there seems to be no relief in sight from the rising cost of commodities in the city. In Mumbai, petrol price has breached the Rs 93-mark, whereas, the price of an LPG cylinder has been hiked by Rs 25 for a 14.2 kg cylinder. Catch all the latest updates here
