Mumbai city continues to report a lesser number of new COVID-19 cases. Coronavirus cases dropped further on Monday. With 328 new patients, the number of active patients stands at 5,656. However eight more people lost their lives to the virus, while 460 recovered. In Mumbai suburbs, 5,746 healthcare workers were inoculated till evening against the planned 3,580 individuals. Meanwhile, while rising fuel prices remain a major worry, Mumbaikars are likely to get the additional burden of a new agricultural cess that will make fuel, and consequently all other items, costlier.
