On Saturday, Mumbai witnessed its worst AQI since January 2016 fire at the Deonar dumping ground. The AQI then had dropped to 341. An AQI of 301-400 is considered very poor and triggers a health warning. Meanwhile, Mumbai city continues to report new cases below 500. As many as 471 persons tested positive for the virus on Sunday, taking the total number of cases in the financial capital to 3.6 lakh. The number of active cases stands at 6,328.
