15% water cut in Mumbai on January 5 and 6 – Times of India

MUMBAI: The BMC has announced a 15% water cut from 10am on January 5 till 10am on January 6 in large parts of Mumbai and its suburbs.
The BMC said that almost all parts of south and central Mumbai except the F-South (Parel) and F-North (Dadar East, Matunga) wards and all of the western suburbs and eastern suburbs except Mulund would be affected by the 15% water cut.
The BMC officials said that the 24-hour water cut was imposed due to repairs of the chlorine injection points at Yewai on the water lines that supply water from the Vaitarna lake.
