One passenger dies, 16 others injured in bus mishap.
Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation’s bus which was en route Mumbai from Panvel met with an accident on Thursday 2 am.
One passenger died while 16 other passengers were left injured after a vehicle rammed into the bus from one side.
According to the information sought, the passengers were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
One side of the bus has been completely damaged. The Highway Safety Police is conducting a search for the driver who hit the bus and fled spot.
