MUMBAI: Parts of Mumbai, including Dadar and Hindmata areas, faced severe waterlogging on Monday following heavy rainfall in the region.
Between 6am-7am areas like Worli reported 38mm rains, Chembur 15mm, Kandivali 12mm. BEST buses were also diverted in areas of Hindmata in Dadar and Sewri.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that moderate rainfall will continue in Mumbai city and suburbs throughout the day.

The total rains recorded so far by the IMD Santacruz observatory since June 1 has been 1732.3mm and IMD Colaba observatory 1479.2mm.
Meanwhile, heavy traffic congestion was seen in Vashi area of Navi Mumbai after a spell of rain.
