417 new COVID-19 cases in Mumbai; Maharashtra tally rises to 10,498 – Mumbai Mirror

The number of COVID-19 patients in the city grew to 6,874 with the detection of 417 (307+110) new cases on Thursday.

Of the 417 patients, 110 patients tested positive in the various labs between April 27 and 28, however, their reports were received today.

The patients have already been admitted to isolation wards and are under treatment.

The overall death toll has also reached 290 with 20 fatalities.

Out of 20 deaths, 16 patients had co-morbidities. Eight people who died were above 60 years and 12 were between 40 to 60 years.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra with 583 new cases, has surpassed 10,000-mark.

The overall death toll in the state has gone up to 459. Whereas, the COVID-19 tally stands at 10,498.

So far, 1,773 patients have been discharged, while 1,45,798 have been tested.
