Maharashtra gets 64 Mumbai firms’ applications to resume work – Times of India

MUMBAI: The state government received 13,448 applications from industries, including 64 from Mumbai, to resume operations. They self-certified that they would resume operations ensuring all 23 guidelines to prevent spread of Covid-19 are implemented. So far 3,186 units have resumed operations.
Applications came from Nashik (2,655), Aurangabad (2,310), Pune (1,748) , Kolhapur (1,210) and Nagpur (1,183). While the requirement is for over three lakh workers, 69,000 have reported for work. No worker has so far tested positive. MIDC has issued 2,069 vehicle passes, as against a request for 7,081.
