MUMBAI: Daily wagers from north and east India rushed CSMT, LTT, Kalyan and Dadar, to leave the city after a lockdown and ‘curfew’ were announced.
A CR spokesperson said there was a surge of those heading to north and east India but the crowd began to ebb as special trains were introduced. Auto driver Shyam Pande said he had never seen such hard days since he began operating 20 years back.
