After a span of three years, the annual technical festival of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has made a comeback to the Powai campus. Techfest 2022 which is the 26th edition starts from Friday to Sunday. From exhibitions to lectures, from drone night shows to the launch of 5G on its campus, Techfest is open to all students. Techfest this year will host Tarja Halonen, the 11th, and the first-ever woman president of Finland, Suresh Prabhu, former Indian railway minister, Lars Rasmussen, co-founder of Google Maps, Kathryn Lueders, associate administrator of the HEO, NASA, G Satheesh Reddy, former chairman of DRDO, Octavian Morariu, member of the International Olympic Committee, Masayasu Ishida, co-founder and CEO of Spacetime Foundation and V Narayan, director of Liquid Propulsion System Centre at ISRO.
