Four rob Rs 40 lakh booty from jeweller’s staff in Mumbai – Times of India

MUMBAI: Four men, who were following an employee of a jeweller, picked up an argument with him and fled after snatching his bag containing gold biscuits and ornaments worth Rs 40 lakh in Kalbadevi on Saturday night.
A senior police officer said the employee had two gold biscuits and ornaments from their Bhuleshwar office to his employer’s residence in Kalyan. “The four were following him from Bhuleshwar to Kalbadevi, where they picked up an argument, saying he had abused them. While arguing, they snatched his bag and fled,” said the officer.
A case of robbery has been registered with Pydhonie police and a search is on for the accused.
