Mumbai on Wednesday reported 275 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths, taking the tally in the city to 7,60,270 and the toll to 16,299. The discharge of 256 persons took the recovery count to 7,38,599 in Mumbai, which is 97 per cent of the overall tally, leaving the state with 2,821 active cases. Meanwhile, a special PMLA court on Wednesday remanded dismissed Mumbai police officer Sachin Waze to judicial custody in a money laundering case, in which former Maharashtra home Minister Anil Deshmukh is also an accused.
