Mumbai logs 210 new Covid-19 cases, five deaths – Times of India

MUMBAI: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that Mumbai city has reported 210 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, taking the total caseload to 7,57,910.
Presently, there are 2,815 active patients, said the civic body.
As many as 317 patients were discharged from hospitals after making a full recovery on Monday. The total number of positive patients recovered and discharged stands at 7,36,271.
However, five people succumbed to the infection on Monday, taking the death toll to 16,281.
The recovery rate in Mumbai is 97 per cent and the doubling rate stands at 2,154 days.
BMC has sealed off 13 buildings to contain the spread of the infection. However, there are presently no active containment zones in Mumbai.
