Mumbai News Live: Aryan Khan appears before NCB as part of bail conditions in drugs-on-cruise case – The Indian Express

Mumbai Live News: Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday as part of one of the conditions set by the Bombay High Court while granting bail to the 23-year-old who was arrested, along with several others, by the agency in the drugs-on-cruise case.

Aryan Khan was released from Mumbai’s Arthur Road jail on October 30 after spending 26 days in jail. The Bombay High Court had listed 14 conditions for his bail of which appearing before the agency every Friday is one.

As against the predicted heavy pollution on Diwali night, Mumbai witnessed a moderate AQI of around 149-165. Since earlier this week, the city’s AQI was in the poor category, i.e., between 201 and 300.

Maharashtra on Thursday recorded 1,141 fresh Covid-19 cases, a drop from the 1,193 it did a day ago. The state also recorded 32 fatalities during the same time, the health department said. With these additions, the statewide coronavirus tally rose to 66,15,299, while the death toll increased to 1,40,345, the department added. Maharashtra’s case recovery rate now stands at 97.6 per cent, while the fatality rate is 2.12 per cent.
