Mumbai News Live Updates: All 33 accused have been arrested in connection with the alleged gang-rape of a 15-year-old girl in Dombivli. The girl was allegedly gang-raped multiple times over a period of eight months in Thane district.

NCP minister and spokesperson Nawab Malik on Monday led his party workers in the Bharat Bandh in support of the farmers’ protest against the three farm laws. He participated in a protest at the Sion Circle in Sion East, Mumbai.

At Aurangabad, state NCP president Jayant Patil along with party workers demonstrated by wearing black badges. At Solapur, CPI(M) workers lead by senior state leader Adam Master came out on the streets to protest against farm laws.

Meanwhile, Mumbai on Sunday recorded 479 fresh Covid-19 cases on Sunday and five fatalities. With 481 new recoveries, the total number of active cases in the city stood at 4,667.

In other news, the Thane police, probing a case of a 15-year-old girl’s gangrape by 33 people over eight months, arrested three more persons on Sunday. “With these three arrests, the police have managed nab a total of 32 people including two minors. We are on the lookout for one more person who has been identified,” said a police officer.
