MUMBAI: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that Mumbai city reported 208 new Covid-19 cases, taking the overall count to 7,37,724.
As many as 372 patients have been discharged from hospitals post-recovery today. The total number of positive patients recovered and discharged till date stands at 7,15,389.
Also, three persons with co-morbidities succumbed to the virus today. The death toll reached 15,954.
The recovery rate is 97 per cent. The doubling rate is 1,680 days.
The civic body declared one area as ‘Active Containment Zone’. The BMC has also sealed off 35 buildings in Mumbai to contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
