MUMBAI: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation said that 331 people tested positive in Mumbai on Sunday. The total number of cases reached 7,35,112.
10 patients succumbed to the infection while nine had co-morbidities. The total death toll reached 15,899.
As many as 403 patients have been discharged from hospitals today after making a full recovery from Covid-19. The total number of positive patients recovered and discharged from hospitals till date stands at 7,11,920.
The recovery rate is 97 per cent and the doubling rate is 1,458 days.
The BMC has also declared three areas as ‘Active Containment Zones’. The civic body has also sealed off 47 buildings in Mumbai city to contain the spread of the virus.
