Mumbai on Sunday reported 362 new Covid-19 cases, taking the overall count to 7,34,119. In a positive development, 539 people were also discharged during the day. However, 10 people succumbed to the virus. The active cases now stand at 5,610. Maharashtra reported 6,843 new coronavirus cases and 123 fatalities. The recovery rate in the state is 96.33 per cent. The state is left with 94,985 active cases. The state’s infection tally has reached 62,64,922 and the death toll to 1,31,552. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray visited flood-affected Chiplun on Sunday where he met officials and local representatives to assess the extent of damage and ongoing relief operation.Read Less
