At least 11 people were killed and 7 others injured after a residential structure collapsed in New Collector compound, Malad West of Mumbai late on Wednesday night. According to officials the incident took place around 11 pm and all the injured were rushed to a civic hospital in Kandivali area. Meanwhile, in view of incessant rainfall, the vaccination drive will remain suspended in Kalyan, Dombivali, Badlapur, Ambernath and Ulhasnagar on June 10. The Thane Municipal Corporation has decided to suspend its COVID-19 vaccination drive until further notice. Mumbai recorded 788 new coronavirus on Wednesday, taking the total tally to 7,13,790. The city hosts 15,947 active cases.On the other hand, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an ‘Orange’ alert in Mumbai, Palghar, and Thane districts for the next four days.Read Less
