Mumbai News Live Updates: City reports nearly 1,000 new COVID-19 cases – Times of India

For the fifth consecutive day, Mumbai city continues to report a high number of COVID-19 cases amid rising concerns. On Saturday, the city reported 987 cases and four deaths, taking its case tally to 3,24,866, and death toll to 11,470. The active cases in the city stand at 9,496. The doubling rate has come down to 249 days. However, on a positive note, over 800 people were also discharged in a single day. In another development.
