Mumbai News Live: Mumbai reports 599 coronavirus cases, four deaths – Times of India

The country’s financial capital has reported over 500 new COVID-19 cases on the second day in a row this week on Thursday. The COVID-19 tally in Mumbai increased to 3,12,303 after 510 more people tested positive. The number of active cases stands at 5,252 in the city. On the immunization front, the number of people inoculated against COVID-19 crossed the 1-lakh mark in Mumbai. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has said mobile laboratories for COVID-19 testing will soon be made available across the state. Whereas, in another development, a fresh political slugfest has erupted between the Governor and Maharashtra government after Bhagat Singh Koshyari was forced to deboard from a state government aircraft at Mumbai Airport as he planned to fly to Dehradun. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s office has pointed fingers at the Raj Bhavan.
