In Mumbai, 1,588 healthcare workers received vaccine shots on Thursday, taking the total to 9,873. In suburbs, 2,842 beneficiaries were inoculated, pushing the total to 16,918.The financial capital of the country reported 394 new coronavirus cases and seven fatalities on Thursday, according to the BMC. This took the caseload in Mumbai to 3,07,563 and the death toll to 11,326. Currently, there are 5,520 active COVID-19 patients in Mumbai.Meanwhile, the Maharashtra government inaugurated a guided heritage walk inside the BMC HQ. It will be opened to visitors on weekends for guided tours.Also, Mumbai Air Quality Index remained in the ‘Unhealthy’ category at 227 on Friday.
