One killed, 5 injured in cylinder blast in Mumbai – Times of India

MUMBAI: One person was killed and five others were injured after a cylinder exploded following a fire at a Saki Naka slum on Tuesday night. All were from the same family.
Officials stated that the incident was reported to them around 9.30pm and they doused the fire at Jagtap Wadi within an hour. Officials stated that during the fire, the cooking gas cylinder at the residence of the victim exploded, killing 15-year-old Almas Khan.
The other family members, Anisa (45), Asma (60), Rihan (8), Sania (14) and Sifa (16) sustained serious injuries. They were taken to hospital and their condition is stable, BMC officials said.
