Coronavirus Mumbai cases LIVE updates: On a day when the coronavirus cases in Mumbai crossed the 2-lakh mark on Monday, the Maharashtra government has framed standard operating procedures (SOPs) for reopening of restaurants from October 1 as the current lockdown, induced by the novel coronavirus pandemic, ends on September 30. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray interacted with representatives of associations of restaurateurs from Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad and Nagpur via video conferencing ahead of issuing guidelines for the reopening of restaurants, an official statement said. Mumbai has continued to report over 2,000 coronavirus cases and the city crossed the 2-lakh mark, in terms of total coronavirus cases in the city, on Monday.
