‘Bombay is one of easiest & safest cities to live & work in’, tells Swara Bhasker after Kangana Ranaut’s – Times of India

Recently, actress Kangana Ranaut took to Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and alleged that he gave her an “open threat” asking the actress to not come back to Mumbai. She further questioned the safety of the maximum city through her Twitter account and added, “after Aazadi graffitis in Mumbai streets and now open threats, why Mumbai is feeling like Pakistan occupied Kashmir?”

While this grabbed a series of mixed reactions from the netizens, now actress Swara Bhasker took to Twitter to claim Mumbai as the “easiest” and “safest” city to work and live in. Her latest tweet reads, “ As an outsider, an independent working woman & resident of #Mumbai for the past decade. Just want to say that Bombay is one of easiest & safest cities to live & work in. Thank you @MumbaiPolice @CPMumbaiPolice for your relentless efforts & service to keep #AamchiMumbai safe.”

However, Swara is not the only one who has come in support of the city. After actress Richa Chadha, filmmaker Anubhav Sinha, designer Farah Khan Ali took to Twitter and wrote, “Mumbai the safest city in India where you can walk alone at 3 am in the morning or take a cab alone at night without being worried of being raped or murdered and @MumbaiPolice does make it safe indeed. Kudos to the Police and @CPMumbaiPolice”

Meanwhile, one of Kangana’s recent tweet says, “After a major star has been killed I spoke about drug and movie mafia racket, I don’t trust @MumbaiPolicecos they ignored SSR’s complaints, he told everyone they will kill him yet he was killed, if I feel unsafe, does that mean I hate the industry and Mumbai? #ShameOnSanjayRaut”
