Mumbai: Man crushed with grinding stone, 4 held – Times of India

MUMBAI: A 60-year-old man and his three sons allegedly killed his son-in-law with a grinding stone at his Sewree home as the deceased, Mohammed Kadir, suspected his fourth wife, Ranjana Choudhary, of having an affair with one of the brothers (accused). The four accused – Laxman alias Popat Choudhary (60) and his sons Rameshwar, Someshwar and Bantu- have been booked in a murder case filed at Sewree police station.
On Saturday the two fought over the issue and the woman’s father, who lives nearby, arrived at Kadir’s place. “Things went out of control,” said DCP Ganesh Shinde. Her three brothers joined in and started beating Kadir.
The police said that while two of them held Kadir, the third got a 10kg grinding stone and hit Kadir on his head. He died in hospital.
